Member of the public with professional experience of research in school aged children required for research ethics review committee

Oxford Brookes University Research Ethics Committee is seeking an external member from the public with professional experience of research in school aged children to join our research ethics review committee. The Committee comprises a diverse membership made up of academics and researchers from different subjects, lay people and individuals with relevant expertise as a wide variety of research is reviewed at our monthly meetings.

Specific ethics experience is not required, other than a general interest in research, but some involvement or understanding of research would be useful.

The role is voluntary although reasonable travel expenses can be met. The time commitment amounts to one day per month. For further information please contact ethics@brookes.ac.uk
